The random things we did in Bath
1. Making fruit tarts and pancakes
I wanted to make fruit tarts so much after reading a recipe online so yuanyi and I spent a whole Saturday evening making them :D
Flour + lotsa flour + lotsa sugar -->

Put into foil cake cases...
Put in the custard and fruits and baked them
I didn't like the fruit tarts initially cause the tart was too cripsy and the custard tasted a little weird to me. But after leaving them in the fridge overnight they tasted so good hahaaa...and yuanyi's flatmate said it was nice hehe xD Not bad for first try~~ We're gonna make egg tarts and cookies in the future.
2. Mini concert @ Carpenter's House
It was organised by Risa. It didn't turn out like a mini concert hahaaa..but at least we had fun talking and singing a little...

3. Feel the spring approaching~~ Students sitting around drinking beers by the lake in school...we were so amazed when we saw it hahaaa cause we couldn't imagine ourselves sitting on NUS field drinking beer and picnicking.
4. A night at some pub with karaoke~~ Sheena and Joey wanted to sing Dancing Queen but we were too late...so it was just some beer and us talking (more like shouting cause the music was too loud) to each other :)
5. BAMSA (Bath Area Malaysian and Singapore Association) Night. I was asked to help in it last minute...wasn't too willing to initially but it turned out to be quite a good experience :) The important lesson is to be open-minded I guess...The performance itself was not impressive if compared to those I've watched or took part in Singapore but the people were generally much less stressed out and were enjoying themselves more. Hahaa...it reminds me to take it easy and have fun~
6. I love cili padi!!! I bought a packet of cili padi and have been putting it in almost everything I cooked in the past few days hahaaa :D I love spicy food~
It's been more than 2 months since I started this life in Bath and it's been GREAT :) I'm really grateful for this experience...it lets me see that it's possible to have another totally different university life out there. One that doesn't require you to rush assignments and projects and tutorials everyday, one that lets you have the time to cook to wander around and to have much more fun, one that doesn't make you spend every weekend catching up on homework...I'm not saying that NUS is not good, it's just good in another way :):)
Tomorrow is mugging day!!
